John lives with his family in Auckland's west. He is a director of a payment consultingcompany and a member of the Auckland Search & Rescue team. John is also a volunteer fire-fighter withthe Waitakere Rural Fire Force. His SAR dog status is officially "between dogs". |

Jim is from the UK having coming over here to work in New Zealand Police in 2007. Prior to that he worked in the UK police for about 12 years and the UK army before that. He is a member of the Taupo SAR group where he lives with his wife and two kids. Currently between dogs. |

Sue lives in Porirua, is an active outdoors person and has achieved operational status with two dogs in both air scenting and tracking. Sue is fully involved with Wellington SAR organisation to the extent she is a police adviser. Sue’s activities on the LandSAR Search Dogs committee include Training Coordinator and Gear Custodian. |

Karyn Robertson |
Karyn has been involved in the ski industry for over 20 years and started working with avalanche dogs about 10 years ago. She has a background in marketing and tourism and currently owns her own marketing consultancy business, Nor'west Arch which specialises in website solutions. Karyn has had 2 operational avalanche dogs and is the current representative for all things snowy on the committee. She can be found at Mt Hutt during the ski seasons (don't ask how many seasons, it'll PROVE she's not actually 21...)

Graeme is a member of Hamilton LandSAR Group and is a current operational handler with his dog Gemma.Graeme's activities on the LandSAR Search Dog Committee include Editor of the Dog Report (Newsletter) and Sponsorship Liaison. Graeme is the Hydro/Thermal Engineering Manager for Mighty River Power |
